Getting Ready for Summer Reading

Summer Reading signup starts June 1st this year. You’ll be able to sign up online or at our Summer Reading Kickoff Party starting at 2 pm on Wednesday, July 1st.

Events

  • Storytimes  
    • Monday evenings at 5:30 pm
    • Wednesdays at 10:00 am 
    • Saturdays at 11 am in English and 11:30 in Spanish
    • Facebook Storytimes on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11 am
  • Teen Volunteer Work Day – Monday, May 16th at 4:30 pm

    Teens, here is an opportunity to complete community service hours at the library. For the month of May we will be creating decorations for our upcoming summer reading program.
  • Teen Craft Night: Morse Code Bracelets – Tuesday, May 24th at 5 pm

    Create unique coded messages with morse code using beads and turn them into bracelets! Challenge yourself creatively in more ways than one with this craft that involves secret messages. All supplies will be provided.
  • Teen Otaku Club – Wednesday, May 25th at 5 pm

    Do you love anime and manga and are in middle or high school? Then come to our Teen Otaku Club meeting. This month we will watch and discuss the anime My Roommate Is A Cat! Sign up in advance to save your spot and get a free snack. Join us at the meeting for your chance at an anime door prize and to enjoy a craft.
  • Game Day for all ages – Thursday, May 26th at 5:30 pm

    Come in and play board, card, and video games. This event is open to all ages, bring a friend or family member to try out a new game!
  • Closed for Memorial Day – The Library will be closed on Monday, May 30th for Memorial Day. We will reopen on Tuesday for our regular hours.

  • Summer Reading Kickoff Party – Wednesday, July 1st at 2 pm.

    Help us kickoff Summer Reading. We will have games, hot dogs, popcorn, a bouncy house, and more! All ages welcome.

  • Library and Lunch – On Tuesday, June 14th​ at Noon, our book club will meet to discuss “Project Hail Mary” by Andy Weir.
