Summer Lunch Program
The Summer Lunch program will continue until July 31st. USD 480 Nutrition Services is providing free grab-and-go lunches to any child from 1 to 18 years old. The program will run Monday through Thursday and will not require special identification or registration. Limit one meal per child per day. Everyone receiving a meal must be present.
Time: 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Pick-up Locations: Liberal Memorial Library,
- Light Park (1100 N. Kansas Ave.),
- Blue Bonnet Park (1101 W. 8th Street),
- Mary Frame Park (200-298 E. Pancake Blvd), and
- Recreation Center (950 S. Grant Avenue)

Mahjong
Are you interested in learning a new game to play with family and friends? On Friday, July 25th at 1 pm we will get together for a fun game of Mahjong here at the library.
Stuffed animal sleepover
Kids, drop off your stuffed animal on Thursday July 24th for a sleepover party at the library! Follow us on Facebook to see what wild adventures these animals have in the library during their sleepover party.
Pick up your stuffed animal on Saturday, July 26th by noon.
Puzzle Exchange pickup
For everyone who dropped off Jigsaw puzzles for our puzzle exchange, come to the library to pick up your new jigsaw puzzles from Thursday, July 24th through Saturday July 26th.
Saturday Arcade
Attention competitors, players, and gamers. If you want to play games for FREE, then come join us at the library on Saturdays this summer at 10am. For ages 10 and up.
Pizza Puzzle Palooza
On Thursday July 31st, tackle a 500-piece puzzle while devouring a large pizza against the clock—assemble a team of four puzzle-loving pizza enthusiasts! Ages 18 and up. Sign up required!
Doors open at 5pm. Competition starts at 5:30pm.This event is limited to (6) teams!
LEGO Play Day
Kids, unleash your imagination! Every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month at 4pm, join us for free-play with LEGO bricks galore! Upcoming LEGO Play Days are August 7th and 21st.
Library and Lunch
On Tuesday, August 12th at Noon, our book club will meet to discuss “Miss Bensons Beetle” by Rachel Joyce. Bring your lunch and join the discussion.
